Incompetent OB

I just wanna share my experience with dealing with this OBGynecologist Dra. Elsie Pascua of St. Luke's Medical Center, BGC. I was suffering from abnormal uterine bleeding for more than a month and since St. Luke's is the nearest to my office, i gave it a shot.

We have Medicard as our HMO, so i came to their office one day and they reccommended Dra. Pascua since ahe's available that day. Ive waieted so long to be called and when it was turn, she asked me what's wrong. Im not even done with the history when she cut me off and gave a paper asking me to have TVS. I had doubts about her but I thought, TVS is the basic step to see what's wrong with me. So I went and had it done. It was 530pm when I got the result and got back to the clinic, but she already left. Her schedule was until 6. Oh well, I thought, maybe that's how it works.

So I came back the next day, even I had a not so pleazan twxperience the day before, because Im scared I might lose more blood. After hours of waiting, she looked at the TVS result and said I needed to undergo hysteroscopic biopsy and polypectomy. All she said was it is an outpatient minor surgery. She even said I really need to have it done ASAP because some of her patiens doesnt have a good result right after. Threatened, I had it scheduled Saturday that week.

I had to go back a week after to mnow the result. And as always, after hours of waiting, she looked at the result. She just said that i have polypsShe was even surprised that I was still bleeding. . She advised me to take Duphaston once a day for 10 days, and moving forward, 11 days after the first day of my period. She said that i need to do it for six months. Shedid not explain everything She always seem to be in a hurry. But i really want to feel better so I took her advise.

My bleeding didnt stop, it even get worst. So I came back to aee her. Of course, after few hours, it was my turn. My chart is missing. She did not even recognize me. Se asked me what's wrongand I said im still bleeding. She gave me a paper, with TVS recommendation for possible biopsy. I said im already done with it. The look in her face was really surprised and then she asked me what are the result of the tests. I was like, "you said i have polpys". And told her that she gave me Duphaston. I said my blweding got worst, she looked even more surprised. By that time, im just giving her a poker face. I want her to feel I dontt like what's happening. I wanna get angry but there are people outside. She then gave me another prescription. She wants me to double the dose of Duphaston. I really felt upset because she's giving me prescription wituout knowing my history.

Im now in search of a better OB, and hope it wont take too long becauee im still bleeding. I will make a formal complain about that doctor but let me take care of my health first. We'll meet again. Unprofessional, irresponsible Dra. Elsie Pascua.
